This position directs, ccordinates and supervises all related activities in these areas according to polcies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of CHS, the hospital and the respective departments. This position analyzes and evaluates services utilizing current research to improve patient care outcomes and quality of care. This position reports to the Director of Perinatal Services.Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Supervisor: BNS and current certificiatino in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing from a Nationally Recognized or Accredited Organization. Clinical Nurse Specialist: Certified by the State Board of Nursing as a CNS and current certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing form a Nationally Recognized or Accredited Organization.Experience: Recent 2-5 years of progressively responsible clinical and supervisory experience required.License and Certifications: Current, valid, California RN license, current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR & NRP certification. Evidence of continuing education in Neonatal Services.Primary Locaiton: CA-Watsonville (Monterey Bay region)Organization: Watsonville Hospital
