This per-diem opportunity has a Monday thru Friday 9AM to 5:30PM schedule for about 3+ months (covering a Leave Of Absence), and then will afterwards help with coverage as needed (i.e. vacations, sick-time, etc). Our multi-modality outpatient imaging facility in Westchester currently utilizes GE logic 9 and GE logic 700 equipment for ultrasound exams. As a Sonographer you''ll:* Perform professional OB/GYN, abdominal, thyroid, breast, small parts, DVT, and carotid ultrasound exams on incoming patients.* Assist our radiologists with procedures if needed.* Recognize and document abnormalities and anomalies.* Respond to patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.* Complete all paperwork associated with technical procedures.* Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patient procedures.* Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.We''re looking for experienced and professional candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient ultrasound exams and procedures.
