Manage the assignment of equipment repair to vendors and the installation of equipment in the distribution center.
Ensure all equipment in the distribution center is operating correctly.
Manage the MP2 program to track the inventory and equipment in the distribution center.
Remain knowledgeable of the equipment and operating systems in the distribution center.
Requisition materials, supplies, and parts from vendors for operating equipment.
Train Mechanics on the technical and safety programs in place in the distribution center and administer the associated testing when training is complete.
Review Material Safety Data Sheets MSDS procedures, blue prints of the building, schematics, and operating manuals to determine the type of materials and equipment that must be in place for efficient operating conditions.
Establish and implement the preventative maintenance program to ensure maximum productivity.
Ensure distribution center equipment is in compliance with all federal, state, local, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA rules and regulations.
Conduct team meetings to ensure all safety procedures are followed and all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Manage the maintenance budget to ensure all spending is according to budgeted allocations.

Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
Associates degree AA in Industrial Maintenance or Manufacturing, plus five 5 years experience in manufacturing/industrial maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
