1.Responsible individual, sensitive to the needs of children 0-12
2.Provide supervision of all assigned children both indoors and outdoors settings Children must be supervised at all times.
3.Engage children in age appropriate activities.
4.Create an atmosphere that supports confidentiality of family and childrens information with staff and the community.
5.Attend in-service training and staff meetings.
6.Attend mandatory HIPPA Training  Child Abuse Training
7.Maintain files and records and routine program support.
8.Provide support to family activities and programming.
9.Handle a variety of routine clerical tasks and paperwork.
10.Run copy and fax machines as needed.
11.Other duties as assigned and necessary.
***Minimum Qualifications***
1.Completion of High School Diploma or GED preferred
2.Classes in Early Childhood Education Preferred
3.Minimum of one 1 year experience working with Children in child care setting or similar
4.TB Clearance/Physicians Statement of Health
5.Background Clearance with a Criminal Record Clearance and Child Abuse Index
6.Ability to work with disabled students and diverse populations
7.Valid certification in CPR/First Aid
8.Knowledge of strategies to provide positive support to developing young children and their families in all situations
9.Completion of formal or informal education sufficient to assure the ability to read and write English
