About the Agency

The U.S. Census Bureau is seeking a highly-motivated and capable individual to serve as the Chief, Company Statistics Division (CSD).  As the Chief, CSD you will direct the development of the overall plans and programs for collecting, processing, and disseminating data from quarterly and annual surveys and periodic surveys related to the quinquennial economic census and the economic censuses of the island areas.  Also, he/she will oversee the development of data products that meet the needs of economists and economic decision makers. 
The position is a Senior Executive Service (SES) career-reserved position.  Positions in the SES are not graded.  SES pay is commensurate with qualifications.  SES employees are eligible for bonuses and awards based on performance.  Veteran's preference is not applicable to SES.
