JOB SUMMARY:
JOB TITLE: SalesWe keep electric motors and generators running.We are the nation s leading independent provider of repair and maintenanceservices for electric motors, generators and mechanical power transmissioncomponents. Our 16 service centers provide local, regional and nationalcoast-to-coast support, providing in-shop repair, field services andproduct sales to over 4,000 customers in various continuous processindustries, including power generation (Fossil, Hydro, Nuclear andWind), petrochemical, metals,mining, paper and agg.REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years old and be able to pass abackground and drug screen. Must have a valid driver s license. EOEEDUCATION REQUIRED: BS Engineering or the equivalent experience.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of three to five years prior sellingexperience with similar product applications, preferable in a relatedindustry.DUTIES: Responsible for effective sales effort in an assigned territory,including developing new customer accounts, advising customers on servicecenter capabilities and introducing new services to customers.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Develop list of prospective customers with manager, determine appropriatesales strategy, call on customers and follow-up with additional visits andcorrespondence as appropriate.2. Analyze customer requirements and through familiarity with service centercapabilities, develop and present proposals.3. For complicated customer modifications, coordinate the efforts oftechnical specialists for development of proposals. Presents proposals tocustomers.4. Establish long-term customer relationships utilizing sales techniques,policies and philosophies of the company, and service center capabilities.5. Consult with appropriate management on problems involving pricing,specifications, warranties and service adaptations.6. Have thorough knowledge of competition in the marketplace and competitivebid situations. Report conclusions to service center manager.PAY: $45,000 per year, but is negotiable depending on experienceBENEFITS: Benefit packageSHIFT: Full time, day shift
