The sales representative is responsible for maintaining highquality communications between our existing customer base, futurecustomers, and the operating departments. The successful candidate willdevelop future sales opportunities through quotations, customercommunication, relationship building, and project tracking. The salaryrange for this position will commensurate with the successful applicant sexpeEssential Duties and Responsibilities * Safety and efficiently manage company external sales. * Prepare quotations. * Maintain customer base through relationship building and developingloyalty. * Grow market share through effective sales strategies. * Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe workingprocedures and environmental protection. Report any problems to the DirectSupervisor, Safety Manager, Human Resources Manager, or General Manager. * Assist Aggregate and Ready Mix Sales Manager with making sound decisionsconcerning external sales opportunities. * Maintain timely and accurate reporting and communication. * Assure that job tasks are performed in accordance with industry bestpractices and requirements of the company. * Assure that all customer quotations and communication records aremaintained. * Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily. Must have the ability to follow directions from company personneland customers.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure,using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability tocompute, rate, ration, percent, land to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, butuninvolved written or oral instructions.Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type anduse keyboards accurately and have knowledge of MS Office.
