Colorado National Guard Dual Status Technician Announcement

 

Colorado National Guard Dual Status Technician Announcement Technicians are employed under the authority of Title 32 USC, Section 709, which states, in part, that technicians are to be employed in "the administration and training of the National Guard," and "the maintenance and repair of supplies issued to the National Guard."

COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENT

Immaterial (Must obtain compatible AFSC within 1 year of hire - In addition selectee must have an IT degree if you do not hold a compatible AFSC)

 

Technician Note:  The supervisor has requested to hire this position AFSC Immaterial.  This position has a NGB compatible AFSC assigned to it; all Dual-Status technicians are required to maintain AFSC compatibility. The compatible AFSC's for this position are 3D000, 3D090, 3D100, 3D190, 3D0X1, 3D0X2, 3D0X3, 3D1X1, 3D1X2, 3D1X3, and 3D1X4.  Failure to maintain AFSC compatibility can result in termination.

 E-8 / SMSGT

MINIMUM MILITARY GRADE

E-6 / TSGT / Promotable

This position is located in the Plans and Implementation Flight of a Base Communications Flight.  This position serves as the Plans and Implementation Flight Superintendent and a senior Information Technology (IT) specialist.
