Colorado National Guard Dual Status Technician Announcement Technicians are employed under the authority of Title 32 USC, Section 709, which states, in part, that technicians are to be employed in "the administration and training of the National Guard," and "the maintenance and repair of supplies issued to the National Guard."

Technician Note: The supervisor has requested to hire this position AFSC/MOS Immaterial. This position has a NGB compatible AFSC/MOS assigned to it; all Dual-Status technicians are required to maintain AFSC/MOS compatibility. The compatible AFSC's/MOS's for this position is 38PX, 3D0X1, 3S0X1, 3S2X1, 42B, 42H, 420A, 42A. Failure to maintain AFSC/MOS compatibility can result in termination.

This position is located in a state Human Resources Office that has responsibility for servicing both Army and Air National Guard full-time personnel. The purpose of the position is to serve as the state Human Resources Specialist for recruitment and placement, military technician compatibility, permanent change of station (PCS) moves, pay setting, recruitment and retention allowances, and reduction in force. Responsible for the development and implementation of plans to accomplish a statewide technician recruitment and recruitment program.
