Colorado National Guard Dual Status Technician Announcement Technicians are employed under the authority of Title 32 USC, Section 709, which states, in part, that technicians are to be employed in "the administration and training of the National Guard," and "the maintenance and repair of supplies issued to the National Guard."

**Selectee is responsible for bringing permanent EA with them (check with technician supervisory chain)**
**The vacancy caused by this move will be filled by the Indefinite position authorized by the CONG CoS memorandum**
**If the indefinite position is not funded for Future Fiscal Years, the permanent EA will return to its original location**
The primary purpose of the work is to analyze and evaluate maintenance operations, production, and procedures; and make recommendations for improvement. This requires practical knowledge of, and skill in applying, principles, concepts, and methods of surface maintenance equipment, facilities, and service operations.
