Colorado National Guard Dual Status Technician Announcement Technicians are employed under the authority of Title 32 USC, Section 709, which states, in part, that technicians are to be employed in "the administration and training of the National Guard," and "the maintenance and repair of supplies issued to the National Guard."

Current Enlisted members of the Colorado Army National Guard (COARNG) and those eligible to transfer via the IRR, Reserves, Active Duty, another States National Guard or re-enlistment.

Technician Note: The supervisor has requested to hire this position as MOS Immaterial, against NGB compatibility standards. This position has NGB compatible MOS's assigned to it; all Dual-Status technicians are required to maintain MOS compatibility. The compatible MOS's for this position are: 42A, 92A, 92Y. Failure to maintain MOS compatibility within a year of hire can result in termination.

This position is located in the ARNG State Headquarters, Plans, Operations and Training Branch. The purpose of this position is to serve as technical advisor for the management and administration of the Individual Training Management Program for the state.
