In this position, you will be required to assist with the drafting and execution of the agency budget for Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) and / or other appropriations. Participate in analysis of legislation to determine congressional intent, identify statutory requirements, and recommend responses which are beneficial, or least harmful, to the Agency mission. Assist in preparing reports to Congress, testimony, and responses to congressional and GAO inquiries. Monitor financial execution of programs, recommend remedial action to correct adverse trends and situations and make appropriate adjustments to current year accounts and documents future year budget impact and the management of Defense Travel System for multiple programs.
