WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Government-wide career or career-conditional employees; Transfer and Reinstatement Candidates, 30% or More Compensable Disabled Veterans, Veterans Recruitment Act (VRA) Eligibles, Qualified Handicapped Individuals, returned volunteers from the Peace Corps or Vista within the local commuting area.  Veterans who are Preference Eligibles or who have been separated from the Armed Forces under honorable conditions after three years or more of continuous active service (VEOA).   You must submit proof of this eligibility with your application.
