Would you enjoy ensuring supporting Relamation's water and power resource mangement, development, and protection programs? Responsibilities include leading and performing laboratory and field tests and evaluation investigations to analyze, measure, and improve the performance of speed governing and excitation (voltage regulating) systems for hydroelectric generators. Perform research activities as directed including analysis and development of new control concepts for speed-governing, excitation control (voltage regulation), and power system stability enhancement related to operation of hydroelectric generators.
