About the Position:

Serves as a project management engineer/scientist for a chemical demilitarization facility performing technical consultation and/or program coordinator reviewer services for the organization involved with the Department of the Defenses program for the demilitarization and disposal of lethal and incapacitating agents. The engineer and/or scientist is knowledgeable of chemical demilitarization requirements and operations as they relate to compliance with applicable Federal, State, local, Department of Army, and Department of Defense laws and regulations. The nature of work performed requires, as the primary qualification requirement, professional competence and mastery of the concepts, principles, and practices of chemical, mechanical, industrial, electrical, and environmental engineering; or physical science in order to perform chemical demilitarization functions.
