JOB SUMMARY:
To support the operation, modification and maintenance of cranes, hydraulic equipment, slewing motors, tugger winches, and power packs associated with the vessel, as well as provide technical support for these components to ensure that they are fully operational and in compliance with current legislation. Preparation and scheduling routine maintenance according with scope of work to minimize downtime.
-Review any proposal for modifications to crane and hydraulic equipment and systems
-Assist in the scheduling of vessel fixed crane equipment rectification, repairs and maintenance activities
-Assist in the scheduling of vessel fixed hydraulic equipment rectification, repairs and maintenance activities
-Manage the preparation of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical specifications associated with cranes and hydraulic systems as required in accordance with relevant legislation
