JOB SUMMARY:
Title: Data Services Operator I
Location: TX-Houston
SUMMARY: Performs physical and digital data distribution of Wireline, Drilling Services, and SLS well log data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work on a rotating shift schedule and overtime as required.
Enters well information into department's proprietary database software.
Identifies data required for analysis by Interpretation & Processing Services, and notifies them accordingly.
Performs print duties with all department printers (Thermal, Color Laser, and Inkjet Plotters).
Creates customer data CD's and verifies them for accuracy.
Packages and distributes customer data via FedEx and USPS.
Provides effective interaction with both clients and office personnel.
Must successfully complete an in-house training period (~4-week) provided by staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Computer literate with experience in using Windows XP, Windows 7, & Microsoft Office 2007-2010.
Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal).
Customer service experience.
Self-motivator, self-starter.
Able to work with limited supervision.
High school education minimum, some college preferred.

Prolonged periods of time spent at a computer terminal.
Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
