SPECIAL HIRING AUTHORIZES CONSIDERATION: Eligible under Special Appointment Authority; Individuals who are eligible for consideration under special hiring authority (i.e., 30% compensable veterans, severely handicapped individuals, former Peace Corps and VISTA volunteers, etc.) will be accepted and considered non-competitively for this vacancy.

This position is located at the Center for Urban Ecology, National Capital Region Inventory and Monitoring Network located in the Georgetown area of Washington, DC.  The will incumbent serve as a member of the vegetation field team for a long term ecological monitoring program and will work closely with and under the direction of the network coordinator.

This appointment is not to exceed 1040 hours in a twelve month period, although position may be terminated sooner or extended depending on management needs

  • Possess and maintain a valid State or District of Columbia driver’s license
