• serving as a Senior Medical Officer providing expert technical advice and recommendations on Emerging Infectious Disease (EID) and pandemic situations to include influenza.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Medical Officer (Senior Advisor for Emerging Infectious Disease & Pandemic Influenza). The incumbent reports to the Director, Workforce Health and Medical Support Division. This position is located in the Workforce Health and Medical Support (WHMS) Division, Office of Health Affairs (OHA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
