About the Agency

This position is located in the AMS and GIPSA Financial System and Reporting Branch (AGFSRB), Financial Management Division (FMD). AGFSRB is responsible for formulating current and long-range policies and programs relating to the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) and Grain Inspection Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA) financial management systems, policies, and programs; designing, developing, configuring, and implementing financial and accounting systems; and preparing the agency’s financial statements and financial and accounting reports.
APHIS is an emergency response agency. This means that all Agency employees may be asked or assigned to participate in rotating temporary duty assignments to support emergency programs at some time during their careers with APHIS. For details click: APHIS Emergency Response
