About the Agency

The Policy Analysis Staff (PAS) develops and conducts sound and consistent economic and statistical analysis of preliminary, final and existing agency regulations and policies, identifying regulatory alternatives, economic and social impacts, and ascertaining consistency with agency policy.

This position is currently covered by the Public Health Human Resources System (PHHRS) Demonstration Project.  Please visit: Why PHHRS? How does it benefit employees?

FSIS is anticipating to end the PHHRS Demonstration Project within the next six months.  This position will convert out as a full performance GS-14. 


This position may be eligible for telework and/or other flexible work arrangements.

AP Band 05 is equivalent to the GS-14

Salary Range: AP 05 - $106,263 to $138,136
