JOB SUMMARY:
Summary:
The Driver for the Transportation Program operates a vehicle to transport passengers among scheduled and approved locations within the designated service area.
Examples of work:
*Operate assigned vehicle, observe traffic laws, practice safe driving habits, and follow Transportation Program policies and procedures.
*Perform daily maintenance check on assigned vehicle
*Service assigned vehicle, including fuel, oil , water, other fluids, and maintain proper tire inflation.
*Provide needed assistance to clients entering or leaving the vehicle, from ground level entrance of building and from vehicle back to ground level entrance.

Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment driving test; negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test; DOT physical; criminal history, fingerprinting, and license check.
Employer may potentially hire up to 4 drivers.
