This position serves primarily as an operator of heavy equipment on initial attack, fire, and fuels management activities. The incumbent also operates this equipment in support of other natural resource projects.

Hourly wage as shown is Rest of US (RUS). Specific wage rate will vary by location and may be higher or lower than the amount shown on the vacancy announcement. This is a continuously open vacancy announcement for one or more locations throughout the Forest Service. • Position requires a Work Capacity Test (WCT).
