This position offers a chance to work with a well-known large-medium sized firm in a team of dedicated and experienced professionals. Our client is growing rapidly nationwide.
You must have at least 7 years experience as a maintenance and/or engineering manager working in pharmaceutical FDA regulated-environments. This is a long-term permanent position in beautiful Waco, TX:www.waco-chamber.com
This position pays at about 85-90,000 per year. Relocation may be available.
Job Description for Engineering Manager - Maintenance
The Waco manufacturing facility was established over 20 years ago and is the primary manufacturing site for North America, employing over 600 people. Our state-of-the-art, 352,000 square foot facility sits on over 50 acres and manufactures more than 400 products. As the engineering manager maintenance you will supervise Mechanics who use the highly specialized Romelag Blow, Fill, Seal machines, among others. You will:
* Be responsible for the reliability and continuous improvement of the automated equipment in one or more manufacturing areas.
* Supervise the maintenance personnel and activities for the areas.
* Lead capital projects for process and equipment improvements related to operational efficiency, quality or safety.
* Drive continuous improvement
Job Description for Engineering Manager - Maintenance
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
* Minimum of 6 Years Relevant Experience in Engineering in a FDA regulated manufacturing environment and minimum of 5years supervisory experience of a maintenance organization.
* Process Engineering or Automation Controls Engineering experience strongly preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate subordinates in a maintenance organization.
* Proven record of troubleshooting. Knowledge of statistical process control.
* Familiarity with statistical based reliability techniques.
* Knowledge of robotics, computer aided manufacturing, and program logic controls preferred.
* Ability to work and interact with peers, vendors, various personnel in scientific, engineering, QA, Validation, and operational disciplines in a team environment.
