Fan/ Mechanical Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:
1. Provide technical assistance to fan sales for customer requests and questions.
2. Coordinate and resolve design requirements between customer, fan shop, and other departments.
3. Prepare engineering specifications for the manufacturing and performance of fans.
4. Responsible for fan component drawings.
5. Prepare engineering cost estimates for fan related projects.
6. Perform testing and analysis of new materials and processes related to fan manufacturing.
7. Initiate and manage new product developments.
8. Improve fan and component designs for best performance and profitability.
9. Perform analysis on new and alternative materials supplied by vendors.
10. Provide engineering support to manufacturing for design and process improvements.
11. Read and interpret fan related standards and codes such as API 661, ASME, ANSI, and ISO.
12. Participates on special assignments within area of expertise as required.
13. Perform engineering calculations on fan related design issues.
14. Responsible for performing fan performance calculations.
THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION AND MAY REQUIRE WORKING WEEKENDS.
