This is a key position within the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). IHSC Special Operations provides specialized medical support during Air, Land and Sea transport to include consultation, planning, education/training, management, policy formulation, program coordination, direction, and liaison for all health matters pertaining undocumented migrants in the custody of the ICE. The IHSC Special Medical Operations Chief reports to the IHSC Medical Director and oversees all IHSC Special Medical Operations assets. The incumbent works with a multi-disciplinary team in achieving the goals of the program for the Division. The position includes management and administrative responsibilities to include providing leadership and guidance, policy development, program assessment, recruiting/managing/and mentoring of staff.
