The ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) exists within the organizational structure of U.S.Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) directorate. The U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) Commissioned Corps Officers, civil service staff and contractors comprise the healthcare professionals working together to provide quality healthcare services. IHSC staff serves as the medical experts for ICE for detainee health care.
This position is located in the ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC) Special Medical Operations, Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
IHSC Special Operations provides specialized medical support during Air, Land and Sea transport to include consultation, planning, education/training, management, policy formulation, program coordination, direction, and liaison for all health matters pertaining undocumented migrants in the custody of the ICE.
