This position is located at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) in Jacksonville, Fl. The mission of FRCSE is to maintain capability for and perform a complete range of depot-level rework operations on designated weapon systems, accessories and equipment; to manufacture parts and assemblies as required; to furnish technical and other professional services on aircraft maintenance and logistics problems. This Maintenance Mechanic position has two distinct trades, Sheet Metal Mechanic and Welder. The purpose of this position is to lay out, fabricate, weld, assemble, install, modify and repair numerous structures as required by the FRCSE. Approximately 50% of the time will be devoted to Sheet Metal duties and 50% to welding duties.
