 This position is a temporary supervisory position not to exceed 5 years,  located at NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER in Orlando, Florida.  The purpose of this position is to serve as a Branch Head in the Training Systems-Systems Engineering Division responsible for providing trained engineers and computer scientist necessary to support systems conceptual design, acquisition, development, test installation and product support of training systems for all warfare areas, (aviation, surface, undersea, battle forces and ground forces).

 

WHO MAY APPLY:

Current, permanent DON/Marine Corps civilian employees serving under a career or career conditional appointment assigned to UIC 61340, NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER.  Note: Your most recent Notification of Personnel Action, SF-50, must show UIC 61340 in block 41 to support your claim.

Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance.

Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation.

Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
