Sodexo is seeking for an Operations Manager - Food ata corporate account in Houston, TX. The Operations Manager will be responsible to manage all contract service dining operations, catering and Vending. This position will manage up to 9 employees with a managed volume of almost $550,000 annually. The Operations Manager will have an direct active role in managing the daily operations related to retail, finance, cost controls, execute marketing programs, customer service, and provide strategic leadership to exceed customer and client expectations. Proven strong interpersonal relationship skills are key to building and maintaining the key client web of influence as well as a cohesive staff. Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience as a Food Service Manager or Operations Manager / Food Service Director / Cafeteria Manager, and have strong P&L financial acumen. The position requires strong technical skills that help support and manage the business.
Position Summary:
Assumes GM''s responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Associate''s Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
