JOB SUMMARY:
FOOD SERVICE ASSOCIATE:
Seeking to fill the position of "food service associate". The food service associate is a key employee whose actions have a direct effect on the safety of our customers and the profitability of company's stores. He/she is responsible to prepare food that meets company standards for ingredient quantity, safety and consistency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Prepare food items per required menus and recipes.
. follow necessary steps to insure timely preparation of food items.
. Maintain current food Handler certification as required by county.
. Maintain sanitary conditions in all food preparation areas.
. Monitor food storage units to insure safe temperatures.
. Consistently monitor the coffee bar area for cleanliness and in-stocks.
. Receive produsts from vendors following correct procedures.
. Accurately record bad merchandise per company policy.
. adhere to safety programs to minimize employee injury.
. follow company dress code standards as specified for food service personnel.
. asist in maintaining store equipment; preventive maqintenance, cleaning, etc.
. perform otherf duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED perferred. Experience in food service perferred.
Pass background check and work history if hired.
Supervisory Experience Required: No
