This position serves as a Fire Prevention Technician. This position is responsible for development, implementation and administration of the unit’s Fire Prevention Program. The primary purpose of this position is wildland fire management.

This is a continuously open vacancy announcement for one or more locations throughout the Forest Service. The number and location of positions to be filled will be dependent upon individual unit needs. Positions may be filled as career ladders or could be filled at the full performance level dependent upon the individual unit's needs.
