Summary
Reconciles reported differences between vendor invoices and the FAST system. Liaison between Fuel Accounting and the Houston office. Reports dotted line to the Manager of Accounting in Houston.
Responsibilities
· Review and correct FAST files submitted by PTI/Fuel Accounting/Cost Management/Wholesale. Correction of FRTs.
· Research and resolve load discrepancies on the Open Invoice report between vendor invoices and the FAST system. Communication with PTI dispatch, PTI accounting, corporate fuel accounting, and retail districts is essential.
· Review and resolve unbilled accrued loads outstanding on the Unpaid Fuel and Freight report.
· Print and review the Houston Exception Report which lists all transactions in error status and cannot be paid. It also lists loads in NIS (not in system) status. Resolve all discrepancies timely.
· Maintain BOL files. Handle all requests for copies of BOLs from retail districts and corporate fuel accounting.
· Assist with carrier invoice entry as needed.
· Assist the manager with special projects and requests as needed.
Requirements
· Associate’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
· Accounts payable experience desired.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Accounts Payable/ bookkeeping/ accounting background.
· Microsoft Office Products.
