Unit Description:

Sodexo is seeking for a Food General Manager / Food Service Directorfor a corporate account in Denton, TX. The General Manager at this location will be responsible to manage all contract service dining operations, manage 3 employees with a managed volume of almost $350,000 annually. The General Manager will have an active role in managing the daily operations related to finance, cost controls, customer service, and provide strategic leadership to exceed customer and client expectations.
Reporting a District Manager, the ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience as a Food Service Manager or Operations Manager / Food Service Director / Corporate Cafeteria Manager, and have strong financial acumen / high end catering / corporate services experience. Experience in corporate dining / cafeteria and contract management experience preferred.
Position Summary:
Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
