About the Agency

This position is located with the Avian, Swine, Aquatic Animal Health Center (ASAAHC), Surveillance, Preparedness, and Response Services (SPRS), Veterinary Services (VS). The incumbent serves as Staff Officer for the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP), ASAAHC staff and collaborates with the Senior Coordinator in the direction, administration and coordinating work of the National Poultry Improvement Plan.
 
APHIS is an emergency response agency. This means that all Agency employees may be asked or assigned to participate in rotating temporary duty assignments to support emergency programs at some time during their careers with APHIS. For details click: APHIS Emergency Response
