The Atlanta VA Medical Center is recruiting full time Addiction Psychiatrists for various programs within the Mental Health Service Line at the VA Medical Center or its community clinics. Addiction Psychiatry Board Certification preferred, but ASAM certification or other certification in addiction will be considered. This is a great opportunity to work with an experienced group of Addiction Psychiatrists and other professionals in a major metropolitan area. The job offers opportunities for academic affiliation with Emory University, research and teaching.

Relocation Expenses: Relocation expenses may be authorized for this position.

Note 1: A relocation incentive may be paid to federal employees who physically relocate; a recruitment incentive  may be paid to newly appointed federal employees may be offered.

Note 2: Once appointed   you may be may be eligible for reimbursement for the Education Debt E Reduction Program (EDRP) provided they meet the eligibility requirements and the availability of funds.

Note 3: Applicant's education and experience will be reviewed by a Professional Standards Board and Compensation Panel (for physicians and dentists) in determining the grade and salary of the applicant selected. The recommended salary may be at any point in the range listed for this vacancy. NOTE: Salary shown above does not include market pay.
