VISN 7 consists of eight health care
institutions in Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. VISN 7 is
the third largest VISN, in terms of both Veteran population and patients
served. It provides coverage for over 380,000 unique Veterans. VISN 7
serves 25 Congressional Districts, 13 Vet Centers, eight State Veterans Homes,
three VBA Regional Offices, Seven National Cemeteries and three State Veteran
Cemeteries. VISN 7 continues to be Veteran-centric and maintain inpatient,
outpatient and transition services second to none. Our primary care program
includes clinics at each VISN 7 Medical Center and over 40 Community Based
Outpatient Clinics, Outreach Clinics, and Mobile Clinics. This position encompasses the management of
clinical programs in the VA Southeast Network and consists of practice of an
executive nature, comprised of complex managerial and administrative
components, associated with critical health care issues and activities that
influence the national, network, and local missions, health care, and policy.
The position is located in the Network Business Office in Duluth, GA. He/she is
a direct report to the VISN 7 Chief Medical Officer.
