JOB SUMMARY:

This position requires the performance of a variety of legal work (i.e., research, investigations, preparation and presentation of briefs, and furnishing legal counsel, guidance and advice) requiring a knowledge in tax, civil rights and civil law, military, real property and veterans.  May appear in court on behalf of clients in matters consistent with Army Regulations and Staff Judge Advocate Policies.  

About the Position: 

This position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Fort Benning, GA  31905.  The MCOE is located 100 miles south of Atlanta. GA., and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama.  The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training.  Public transportation and free parking is available.  

 

The purpose of this position is to provide professional legal advice and representation to active duty and retired personnel, their lawful dependents, and authorized civilian personnel.
