Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

This position consists of providing care in order to meet the objectives of the treatment and obtain optimal recovery of the patient. Work consists of assessing, analyzing and evaluating the indications and contra-indications for treatment assuming responsibility for initiating patient care treatment programs, evaluating the reactions and result of treatment, and modifying as directed by a supervising physical therapist. PTA duties are performed in an outpatient setting in an environment, which involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions.
