PRIMARY PURPOSE

 

To serve as the Armament Branch senior technical lead/specialist/expert on aircraft bomb racks, mechanical and electrical systems. Provides technical expertise and program support to the engineering element located in the Armament Branch. Responsible for initiating, coordinating,  and controlling major engineering investigations, studies, and working groups directed toward resolving complex bomb rack engineering  problems; developing and implementing  sustainment  training programs; performing sustainment analysis, calculations and studies; and developing  sustainment  program requirements for major acquisition programs. These tasks include conducting or overseeing engineering investigations of aircraft and bomb rack systems, participating in applicable IPTs, developing technical documentation, supporting advanced technology developments.

 

 

IF APPLICABLE:  Military service member's "Statement of Service" will be accepted up to 120 days prior to separation date IF a terminal leave form or DD214 cannot be provided.  The "Statement of Service" must be signed by, or by direction of, the adjutant, personnel officer, or commander of your unit or higher headquarters and must indicate when your terminal leave will begin, your rank, dates of active duty service, the Type of Discharge and Character of Service (i.e. honorable).
