THIS IS AN ADVANCED RECRUITMENT. If selected, final placement is contingent on the position being vacated. The anticipated effective date is in December 2012.
NOTE: For Department of Navy (DoN) employees, this will be a temporary action (promotion, reassignment, etc.) not-to-exceed two (2) years; may be made permanent without further competition. For all other career or career-conditional federal employees, this will be a Temporary or Term Appointment not-to-exceed one (1) year.
This position is located in the Coatings and Service Shop of the Production Resources Department at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
You will serve as the Head of the Support and Services Shop. The Shop's major functional responsibilities include insulating, shipwright work, painting, fabric working, wood and plastics installing, and other trades.
Salary will be increased by the applicable cost-of-living allowance (COLA), which is subject to change without notice.
