Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

• Federal employees in Hawaii are currently entitled to receive a 12.25% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary.  
• Constructed after the attack of Pearl Harbour, Tripler Army Medical Center is currently home to the Pacific Regional Medical Command. Today, Tripler Army Medical Medical Center is the only federal tertiary care hospital in the Pacific Basin. Located a short distance from Waikiki Beach, Tripler's area of responsibility includes Hawaii, Japan, and various Pacific Island Nations.
