Heavy Equipment Maintenace Mechanic

JOB SUMMARY:
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Maintenance Tech with a two-year college degree, vocational certificate or two years experience as a heavy equipment mechanic needed. Be able to Lift 70 lbs, must have welding and painting experience have knowledge of two-stroke and four-stroke engines, diesel engines and hydraulic systems. Must possess basic knowledge of generator operation and repair, have knowledge of pump operation and repair of engine driven, electric, or air driven (diaphragm) pumps from size 1" and larger. Maintain accurate records and inventory on the maintenance, repairs and usage of all equipment, order parts, analyze malfunctions and evaluate. Attend classes as needed, assist with lawn maintenance, other duties apply. Requires being on call, may require weekends. Exposure to chemicals such as; gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and solvents. Interaction with customers and co-workers , physically challenging. Must have valid driverA
