Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician
Job Description:

Our Heavy Equipment Technicians are responsible for performing major servicing and repairs on Waste Management vehicles and heavy equipment, beyond just basic maintenances. These maintenances could include complete repair of brakes,
electrical systems, hydraulic systems and preventative maintenance inspections. This position could require making service calls to types of heavy equipment.

Additionally, you must either currently have your Class B CDL or be willing to attain it within 6 months of hire. Equipment worked on can vary by site and include but not be limited to: Heavy Equipment, Large Trucks, construction type equipment such as scrapers, dozers, and excavators. You are required to push, pull, drag, and lift items up to 50 pounds, and occasionally must work at shoulder level with equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- 3 plus years experience working on heavy trucks, Earth Moving and Construction Equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to supply your own complete set of master mechanic hand tools and impact wrenches
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
