Ingersoll Rand''s Climate Solutions sector delivers energy-efficient HVACR solutions for customers globally. It''s world class brands include Thermo King, the leader in transport temperature control and Trane, provider of energy efficient heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, building and contracting services, parts support and advanced controls for homes and commercial buildings.

* Performs maintenance and repair on building components to include but not limited to: doors, door hardware, drywall, wall framing systems, suspended ceilings, entry systems and floor covering systems.
* Changes air filters, and performs routine preventive and corrective maintenance of building, heating, ventilation and air condition systems. Adjusts thermostats and air diffusers as required.
* Replaces light bulbs, lamps, ballasts in all parts of the building as needed. Tightens/replaces damaged or loose receptacles, switches if needed, and resets breakers.
* Repairs minor plumbing leaks, unclogs drains and maintains faucets, commode valves, and sinks.
* Oversees contract building service subcontractors informing Supervisor of problems as they develop.
* Assists with inspections on life safety systems to include but not limited to fire extinguishers, fire pumps, emergency lighting and power generators, back-up power systems and elevators. Notifies Supervisor of corrective actions needed.
* Performs daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections of buildings system and effectively documents all discrepancies.
* Use a variety of hand-tools and computers/devices for monitoring and controlling building systems (as required) and for communications (e-mail) and annotating work performed in computer maintenance management system. May inspect and drive company vehicles.
* Performs routine moving of furniture and equipment as needed.
* Adheres to safety policies, industrial practices. Performs other duties assigned, including emergency call-in.

Education Standard:HS diploma or the equivalent work experience''.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or 1-2 years experience in plant operation and/or building maintenance preferred or in a related area. Rudimentary knowledge of facilities, maintenance and repair concepts, and practices.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers
