Alaska's National Parks are exceptionally beautiful, provide exciting recreational opportunities, and offer highly rewarding work in amazing places.  We are currently soliciting applications to fill temporary Hydrologic Technician  positions.  The number, type, location, and start/stop dates of the positions are dependent upon individual unit needs. Availability of government housing, day care facilities and other items will vary by location. All locations offer excellent recreational and work opportunities.

The approximate start/stop dates for the positions are listed in parentheses.  The dates are approximate and may change based on funding, weather, work, and other circumstances.  When you apply online, you will be asked to specify the location(s) where you would like to work. In rare cases this appointment may be extended beyond the not to exceed date. When selected, employees may be noncompetitively hired for subsequent summer seasons in the same position at the same location. 

 

Housing is available at Lake Clark National Park and Preserve-Port Alsworth, AK and Katmai National Park and Preserve - King Salmon, AK.

Government housing is NOT available in Anchorage, AK.
