Job Description The Engineer and Security Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating hospital construction projects as well as activities related to outside grounds, security, building and equipment. Supervisor over the HVAC tech, Maintenance General workers, Security officers, and groundskeeper. Oversees safety and security of hospital building, grounds, as well as employee, patient, and visitor safety. Protects life and property of hospital and hospital employees and their properties. Oversees general repairs and maintenance or mechanical, electrical, building, transportation, plumbing and associated equipment as well as construction projects, repairs and maintenance. Shifts:Day shift, Monday through Friday, may require occasional nights and weekends Benefits eligible: Yes Rate of Pay: Based on experience Minimum Requirements * Three years previous management experience * Experience with boilers, heating and air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, electrical distribution and control systems, fire safety, computer skills and ground maintenance Physical Requirements * Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing / Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling / Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting / Kneeling, Standing, Walking * Must be able to pass a functional capacity test including lifting 50 lbs.
