Job Description This is an on-the-job training role designed for Imaging team members who are pursuing a certification in Ultrasound. The position is responsible for performing high quality procedures using independent decision making and problem solving skills to obtain the best possible images. The incumbent will become proficient in all aspects of patient care and the use of ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Scope Works at least 80% of time training in the respective specialty area. Must obtain registration within 1 year of moving into this job. Entry Rate: Based on experience Benefits Eligible: No Shift Details: Will work variable shifts (as needed). Department: Radiology Minimum Requirements * Successful completion of formal Radiology Technologist (RT) training from an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved school. Intermountain verifies both degree attainment and educational institution accreditation following an offer of employment. * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) License * Current State of Utah License if working in Utah (not required in Idaho) * This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification. An original card must be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn.
