Applications will be held for 60 days at which point any older than 60 days will be closed. aApplicants will have to re-apply to be considered. aCustomer/Donor Relations * Assists customers and donors in a friendly businesslike manner, offering assistance and thanking them for supporting ESGW NRM. * Dresses and acts appropriately as to present a favorable impression. * Promotes excellent customer service at all times. * If requested by retail customers, assists with selection and suggests accessorizing items. * Restocks, straightens, cleans racks and shelves. * Accepts donations brought into retail area, thanks donor and offers assistance and receipt. * Donation Processing * Answers donation door, greets donor, offers receipt and assistance with unloading. * Uses tact when refusing a donation so as not to alienate donor. * Treats donations with respect. * Sorts and prepares donations for sale. * Separate donations by type not quality. * aaaaaa Safety: * Monitors safety and cleanliness of building including plant, sales floor, dressing rooms, and restrooms. * Monitors potential safety hazards, reports them and helps correct them. * Takes active role on safety committees and incentive programs. * Keeps work area clean, orderly and safe. * Keeps isles and emergency exits clear at all times. * Ensures all health and safety policies are followed. * Attends all safety meetings. * Follows all safety rules and requirements of the organization including promoting a strong safety culture. * Maintains a safe environment for customers and co-workers. * Assists with safety training. * Helps ensure safety procedures are followed. * aA
