JOB SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for daily cash accounting, accounts payable, and petty cash.- Close daily batches and prepare bank deposit daily. - Handles petty cash disbursements and balances account.- Inputs payroll according to deadlines. - Keeps track of PTO, holiday, etc. for employees.- Processes accounts payable invoices/purchasing card activity in a timely and accurate manner. - Ensures proper coding for all expenditures. - Resolves issues with vendors. - Processes all check requests.- Assist in planning and execution of operational cost analysis to enhance profitability and improve process efficiency- Effective decision-making and large company initiatives- General office duties including; phones, managing databasesREQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Enjoys quantitative work but also understands relevance of qualitative inputs- Strong project management skills, highly organized- Proven success serving as a source of expert information and managing multiple analytically challenging projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work setting- Ability to influence decision-making processes with effective communication and negotiation skills- Self-motivated, proactive individual with ability to identify issues/opportunities for improvementEXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND:- Associates degree in Accounting, Finance- A minimum of 5-7 years accounting experience in a corporate environment- Proven organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and consultative skillsJoin Aerotek Professional Servicesamp;#174.
